Tough Tracks 4x4 Challenge Scutineering Day 26th Feb

Scrutineering will be held at Redlands 4wd Centre, 30 Steel St, Capalaba starting at 8:30 am and going till arvo.
We will be having a sausage sizzle, Ramp Day and possibly a raffle and some of the girls from our soon to be released calendar will be there.
This year ALL vehicles who are wishing to compete in Tough Tracks 4x4 Challenge Series MUST be scrutineered prior to competing.
Even if you have been competing for as long as the comp has been running and haven't changed anything since you still need to be scrutineered.
It came to the clubs attention that due to the fact that Peter K hadn't been around for the start of the last few years that most cars had gone under the radar and not been scrutineered.
Because we now have 4 different classes of vehicle and alot of new competitors we can't be doing them all on the day of the comp so we are giving you the opertunity to get this done before the day.
If you live out of Brisbane or interstate and can't make it we will have 10 positions available on the day for you to be scrutineered.

Download them off the internet, read sections 1-4 thoroughly and then the section for your class of vehicle.

If everyone complies with the rules then we will have a safer and fairer competition. If you do not comply then do not complain when you are not allowed to compete. If you are unsure whether you comply - then ASK before you turn up at the comp.

On the 1st day of the comp I will be giving Driver's Briefing as well as getting my tracks (Modified Class) up and running. I will have time to scrutineer some vehicles, but if I have to scrutineer many vehicles then the comp either starts late (unfair to other competitors and spectators) or you don't get scrutineered and you don't compete. So please ensure that you have your vehicle at scrutineering on the 26th Feb, and that it complies.

The long awaited Tough Tracks calander is now being printed, and will be available to buy on the day at scrutineering. It has now been printed as a financial year calander, so you still get a full 12 months use out of it

Calenders will be $15. They will be available at the scrutineering day for the first time. There will be a limited number to start with. If there is a huge demand, I'm sure more can be ordered.

So get to the scrutineering day, see some great trucks, support the club and support Digital Still Photography that have put together such a great product.

Hey guys and girls

The website is back up and running.

For anyone who is concerned their truck is not "finished", please do not let that stop you from coming to the scrutineering day on Sunday. If you can get it on a trailer, bring it out and we can go through most of the issues surrounding your truck and identify what will need to be done to finish it off for the comp. We will keep a record of those requirements and check your truck at round 1. This will make it much easier on the day of the comp as most items will be checked already.
