Rear Disc Brakes - HELP - URGENT

All.
INFO needed urgently. How do you properly compress the brake calliper piston for rear disc brakes where the parking brake actuates the disc brakes via a lever arm (NOT a small drum setup inside the disc rotor). Just CAN NOT compress the pistons far enough to fit the new pads in. Need the Paj back on the road (like yesterday) so the right "tech tip" will be most appreciated.

It's not a matter of backing off the adjustment on the handbrake mechanism?

Yeah just open the bleeder nut to allow the fluid to exit as you push the pistons back. A brake bleeder kit (about $10) helps do this or just the right diameter tubing into a orange juice container will do the trick.

May need to rotate the pistons, ie screw them back into the caliper. This is how alot of disc type service/park brake assemblies worked.

Pharb was on the money,
Pistons have two recesses in them. After modifying a 15mm socket with my favourite tool (4" grinder), I was able to wind the pistons all the way back in. I also found that it helped to turn the Park Brake levers all the way round to lock whatever was inside the piston. Without doing this the pistons just turned but did not retract.
