I'm looking at an engineered 350 chev 1990 mod dual cab hilux. body is average and i want to put a later model extra cab from the newer series like 2000 ish shape, has anyone done this ??

I think up to around 03 is still the same basic body shape, so they will probably fit.
No idea about the models after that though.

Check with an engineer first... From my knowledge if you change the cab to a later model you need to meet that yr models emission... But I could be wrong .. And that is the case on a daily bases.".. :rofl:

in qld you have to comply with the emissions of the newest part so that motor would have to be injected or on straight gas

Quick Question in reguards to this.

Later on down the track I'm considering putting a later model (200ish aswell) extra cab body on my '93 LN106. Would I have to comply with emissions for that body too?
standard 93 hilux 2.8D. 33" khumo muds for play
