After work commitments caused the re-shecdule of the event the new dates have been set as- 11th & 12th of August with scrutineering being on the Fri afternoon/ night as per usuall.
I dare say we will see another great field of competitors put their hand up to battle it out for those 3 podium places!!

Round 2 will be held on another completely new property that has never been raced on before, making it an even playing field from the get go with no home town advantages!
The property is situated 40 km north of Mackay, With more info to follow on the property after another reconaisance is done in the coming weeks, also the organisers will be getting some photo's to show us all what we are in for!
There is also going to be some new rules added to ROPS Winch Truck Challenge rules book after a few issues popped up at Round 1, These new rules are:
Rules - Compulsary Equipment
3K - Hand held UHF . This UHF is to on Channel nine at all times and carried with you when away from comp vehicle.
13F - When a breakage has occured you will notify Control on (Channel 9) immediately. It will be the competitors responsibility to contact the control every 20 minute ther after until completion of repair . Failure to contact control at desinated times will incur 20 point penalty for the first breach and 40 point penalty for each breach there after.
7C - No Glass (eg; alcohol in glass, glass cups etc) to be brought into WTC event (comp site or Camping Ground)
Failure to comply, will result in 100point penalty for first offence and Disqualification from event for the second offence.
7D - People camping with teams and have glass will be ask to leave immediately
7E - No dogs allowed.
Unfortunately guys a lot glass has is creeping into the camp sites, So please do the right thing as we will be enforcing the rules, and the last thing we want to see is a child or adult recieve injuries from broken glass, or the owners have issues with it being left behind!
This Round will need at least 15 cars to run.
Cut off date for entry is 10/7/2012 after this point there will be no refunds as it cost money to out the event on. If we dont reach 15 cars we will refund the entry to those competitors at that date. We need that month so we can cancel advertising etc.
