v6 stalls at idle

hey guys got a 3 ltr v6 triton recently it stalls at idle but is fine when u rev it even a tiniest bit i have checked the pod filter the snorkel and the piping just to the butterfly intake a lil bit of dirt but cleaned it out anyway then checked fuel filter and that is clean aswell ( only replaced it about 10 000 ks ago i catn think of anything else it may be .

the engine is due for a service which i am doing this weekend bet could this be the problem ? the engine also has 350 000 rebuilt after 250 000 cheers guys any ideas would be great just want to fix it

Try cleaning the ISC? I cleaned mine, then replaced it after I confirmed that was the problem.

Idle Speed Controller
You'll find it basically underneath the butterfly intake (see pics in the link)
I took it off, quick spray with carby clean (didn't take it apart), put it back on again. It didn't fix the problem altogether but I confirmed where the problem was.

Wouldn't have thought so. check the oxy sensor perhaps?

bit of an update i noticed ova the weekend that when i do a short drive ( 5 minutes ) that is when it does it and when i go for a long drive ( 30 min ) it seems to fix it ? could this help at all ? and thanks paulv1818 i will check that this weekend if nothing else comes up
