RA Rodeo Front Recovery Point

Post by Westozdeo »

Hi All,

It's been quite a while since I've spent much time on here but I've recently rediscovered my interest in 4x4 so looking to make my 2008 RA Rodeo a little more off-road ready. Those of you that have the RA are surely aware of the lack of recovery points on the front. :bad-words: Disappointing as my previous Jackaroo had excellent recovery points. I have an ARB winch bar which has points that are only recommended for towing and light recovery. I have purchased a rated recovery hook but mounting options seem to be pretty limited. I am thinking that mounting somewhere to chassis rail is the only proper way of doing it but finding a point that has clear access for a strap seems unlikely. Has anyone else on here with the RA managed to adequately resolve this problem?

Cheers Noel
