Hey all can anyone give me some info on a warn MRV-B-5? what pound are they,are they any good?cheers in advance.

my googling says its a 6hp motor. Which are pretty much the same as whats on a number of warn winches.

hey turps thanks for that.it seems like a bigass winch.it measures 590mm long,i think it will just fit into my arb winch bar..

thats not the whole winch including motor and gearbox is it. As I think the code you have read is just a motor model number. Not what the winch is. The 6hp motor is fitted to everything from 8000lb and up.

yeha thats right turps.that number i quoted was just the number on the motor.i think it mite be a 12000 pound winch.bloody huge beast.havnt powered it up yet.seems to freespool fine and engages gear fine.does have a bit of noise when you turn the drum in freespool.just sounds like gears turning.hopefully its a goer.
