A friend at work has a 2003 pajero, auto and stock.
She is getting a vibration thru the whole car I took it for a drive an it seems to only happen with 5th gear. Shifting it into 5th around 50kmh it will vibrate all the way up to 60-70kmh
Is there a common issue with these auto boxes?
Any help would be tops

Re: 2003 np pajero vibration......help
It will be the lock-up torque converter carrying on. They tend to do it if anything other than the Mitsu labelled "DIaqueen" ATF has been used. Get the trans fully flushed and replaced with the (expensive) MM branded ATF. It has fixed this issue in many others.

Thanks Pat. We don't get too many Gen 3/4 owners here, so it's good to have access to your experience and knowledge.
