looking to buy a gq and am after people's opinions on the different setups and comparisons of diesel against petrol efi vs carby and auto vs manual. also thoughts on gas petrol combos

Everyone does different things with their cars, perhaps you should let us know what kind of 4wding your doing? Where your planning on going with it? Is it your daily driver?

That said it's much of a muchness really. Diesels, renound for their reliability can have awesome power, and petrols typically renound for power can have great reliability. It comes down to what's practicale for your style and personal preference.

My patrol is my toy and my hobby and I like power so my GQ ute is currently set up as a auto petrol.

When I overthrow the government and rule this country, I will make duel fuel setups illegal as well as using a carby on a 4x4.
