Has anyone put wheel spacers on there 75 series Landcruiser? If so what are the pro and cons????

Short term they can be good for allowing the use of play tyres that would otherwise not fit. Long term use can shorten bearing life and they are illegal for road use in most states.

Ive run 25mm bolt on spacers on my truck, Alloy ones that is. My truck was offroad only so it didnt do high ks so I didnt have any trouble with them. I fitted them to allow 15" wheels to fit over large brake calipers.
Ive had a few friends run the same alloy ones on their road trucks an they had a bit of trouble with them coming loose occasionally.
I dont know of anyone whos used steel spacers, heard theyre alot better. Maybe someone else can comment on them

Good point on the calipers mate. They can actually make scrubbing worse on the front axle when it fawks with scrub radius

A mate had some on his 75 (2") alloy ones and it came loose snapped all the wheel studs and wheel fell off when 4wd'n.
so had to leave truck and get new studs.
I use steel 2" spacers on rear of my lux and havnt had a problem yet, though I do over tighten nuts a little.
I did a fair bit of research about them and had found mixed info on them coming loose and a lot of people won't use them again. Though all the info I could find was people having problems with alloy ones.
That's why I went the steel ones (snake racing)
As said not easy on wheel bearings, studs, helps to bend diff housings (more leverage on diff) not legal on road, inside nuts can come loose but you can't see without taking wheel off.

I haven't run spacers bud I got a few mates that run them in the v8 cruisers in the rear to match it to the front. No issues that I have heard of. Don't no whether slloy or steel tho. I don't run spacers on my ute I just run big offset rims.

I use 40mm spacers in the rear of my 76 series and have had no trouble . I have the alloy jobbies and tension the inside nuts to 110 ftlbs but I am anal in ensuring everyhing is clean between spacer/rotor and hub all dirt rust etc. cleaned off with a scouring pad, inside nuts loctited and tensioned. I have done 10's of thousands of k'ms on these spacers on some of the worst corrugated roads in the north and never had a failure or a spacer come loose . The spacers in the rear help with body roll on road and offraod having the rear follow the front is helpful in rutted and sandy country .
Wheel spacers are illegal for onroad use and will void warranties and insurance . I would not recommend them to anyone .
Also adjusting the handbrake is a MASSIVE pain , and I check/repack wheelbearings every 10,000km's.

Good point about the handbrake, that used to sh#t me to tears trying to adjust the dam thing with the spacers on there an I only had to do it a couple of times

Pretty sure 60 swivels are the same as 75s and you can do the IFS hubs on the 60 so should be able to do it in thev75.

60 series hubs are the same as hilux's, 60 series front diff has different length axles but the cv's are same size as hilux.
That's why comp guys often graft 80 knuckles to 60 centres to get bigger diff and stronger cv's.
I think 76tourer has the best method if they are gonna be used, but as a first option try to get the offset in the rims if you can.
