VDJ79r Bucket seat to Dicky seat possible?

Post by Wozza244 »

I want to swap my bucket seat out to a dicky seat in my 2010 GXL ute so I can fit Myself, the girl and the 4yr old in the ute on trips away.

Will it fit?

Anyone have one laying around?

Mate picked up an older model troopy seat and it fitted straight in so he could take his missus and kid.

Ah well its all good, engineering is cheaper than setting up a dual cab for touring aswell as having my ute.

No different than a sedan, but they have to be strapped into the laft side of the 3/4 seat in a cruiser. Which means the mrs will be in the centre.

Ive never heard that they have to next to the window. As long as there are anchor points the middle would be ok?
My young bloke goes in the middle of my GQ in a seat and we have never been questioned.
