Te42 rebuild cost????

Just ordered a turbo and bits and pieces for my old mav. It's got 370 oookms on it and I'm thinking about pulling it out and giving it a freshen up before I try and throw decent amounts of boost at it.

Any thoughts or guys who have rebuilt there motors as to a ruff idea on cost. I saw on eBay people are doing rebuilds for 4 and 5g. Does that sound about right??

Unless its blowing lots if smoke or down on compression, why rebuild.
Sounds like it will not be running huge boost untill you have everything in place anyway, do it if/when your ready to really up the ante..

do it when you break it mate, its how I did mine.

I rebuilt, did TD05 upgrade, big pump upgrade, Gu pistons ceramic coated, brand new GU genuine head (hens teeth), new liners, did all assembly work myself and I think I was still out of pocket about 13G
