SOA FZJ75 weak power steering

Post by Stackson45 »

Howdy all,
I SOA'd my ute a couple of years ago - and since done the power steering is weak when sitting perfectly still - most road surfaces it won't turn the wheels - as soon as you move it turns no worries. When 4wding this becomes very annoying as i can't move my wheels unless moving.
My setup is the old flip arm style, using the standard tie rod. I had this setup on my old HJ47 Troopy - and it had the same problem - both cars running complete standard p/s setup as per car.
I SOA cars are becoming out of date, but just in case anyone remembers...
Has anyone had this problem?
Would High Steer fix this?
Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

What kind of angle is your drag link on?

Fitting highest e'er or Fitting a better pump will most probably fix ur problem.
