4.8 GU 5 speed auto surging?

G'day all

I have a 4.8, 5 speed auto, that surges while cold and driving :?

When cold in park, can rev it and it's normal, the idle is not rough(read about that), drive and it's normal UNTILL you back off the accelerator THEN it surges\hunts up and down the rev range from about 700-1600rpm.

If warm, no issues at all.

Any one else had this problem?

And if so what was the fix :D
