this post is coming from a very UNHAPPY customer.
a summary of my dealings with cross country 4x4:
mid july rang and spoke about the purchase of one of there patrol intercoolers, was told 3-4 week wait. paid in full at this time.
after 3wks, was told it would be 4 - 6wks. ok fair enough
after 7wks not hearing anything, i rang to find out it would be another 2wks.
after 13weeks i finally took delivery of my purchase.
so if any of you are in the process of buying one or looking at buying one of there coolers, hassle the s### out of them so you don't end up in my boat. and if you get a kit for a y60 patrol the mounting frame doesn't fit properly if you have a vaccum assisted clutch. their template is for a non-vaccum clutch. they now know this thanks to me so hopefully it'll help someone else in the future.

Re: cross country intercoolers
That's rediculous Lepa. I ordered mine after and recieved it before you. And I thought I had it bad.
They couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.
I ordered mine and was told 4-6weeks worst case senario. Had I known that, I'd have ordered 3 weeks earlier when I enquired about it.
Paid up front. I hoped it would get things moving along but I learned that does the opposite.
After the 6th week I rang to see how it was coming along.
CC: "We'll start the 75's next week"
So mid week 7 I ring again.
CC: "Your parts got used on something else. We'll organise more parts and start it on Friday"
I ring on Friday
CC: "We'll get a start on it this afternoon, should be finished Monday (week8). Should make the post Monday arvo, if not Tuesday. We'll even send it express so you'll have it the next day"
Tuesday I get a call to double check the postcode.
CC: "She's here, all packed and ready to go, will be on the truck this arvo."
Me: "Express?"
CC: "I'll have to confirm with the boss man"
Me: "No worries, just let me know either way"
That arvo I hadn't heard anything from them so I rang again.
CC: "Yeah, I went upstairs to get a bonnet scoop but we don't have any..."
Me: "I don't want and never did want a bonnet scoop. I hadn't even paid for one"
CC: "Hmm... Oh yeah"
Me: "It's missed the truck now hasn't it"
CC: "Hmm... Yeah"
Me: " "
CC: "We'll contact TNT and get them to come back for it"
They ring back 30mins later.
CC: "It's on the truck"
Me: "Express?"
CC: "Road Express"
Me: "That's not next day delivery"
CC: "Hmm... Sorry."
So that was Tuesday, it arrived Thursday, I fitted it Thursday night (luckily I had pre-wired it to save time) had the new turbo tuned Friday and went away that afternoon. Talk about cutting it fine. 8 weeks after being told max 6. Sure, things don't always go to plan, but that was beyond a joke. Don't tell me 6 if it might take longer and if you're busy or you fucked up don't be scared to do a bit of O/T.
It's certainly a neat piece of kit I'll give them that. Apart from trimming the neck of the intake bend it bolted straight up. But customer service was woeful.
I do wonder had I not hounded them on a daily basis would I have gotten it at all.

Re: cross country intercoolers
I ordered a GQ kit through United Fuel Injection. Not sure how long it took, but when I called in 2 weeks after ordering it the kit was there waiting for me.
Maybe they are too busy with supplying their big customers and don't put much effort into individuals.
