can anyone tell me what is the easiest way for me to check if my diffs are lsd's or not. also what good are they if they are, how much better than opens, how much worse than lockers. how do i use them to best effect.
can anyone also tell me where is the 5 grands value in calbah's bolt on coil kit. they look like great kits and i really want one, but at that price i can't see them selling too many of them!
the truck is a 91 troopy by the way.
also, the truck has a bit of rust in the turret. i am thinking in a few years time when it gets really bad i might just take the entire top off the thing from the b pillars back, kinda like the old army landcruisers/troopys/trayback things. do'ya reckon that would be enough weight off the top to get rid of the ol rollover scaryness and bring it back on par with say a ute.

Look at the manifactures plate 5th line down trans/axle code the first lot are the gearbox code the second lot is the diff code If the last number is 5 then it left the factory with a LSD
other than that jack both rear wheels of the ground and turn wheel ,if the opposing wheel turns in the oposite direction it is open , if there is resistance [other than over adjusted brakes] it should be LSD
