now i didn't take a photo of removing the bearing but just remove the key section with a pair of pliers or such and place shaft in a soft jawed vice and tap it off or use a bearing / gear puller

carefully push the shaft & bearing back into pump housing, insert new circlip, now i covered the front of the bearing in grease to try and keep mud / water out this time.

now anything you have taken off, put back on and reverse order, just remember lots of lube
Much easier doing this then paying halls $250 for a second hand one, cost me $44 for materials, could of done it for about $20 if i had time to source seals & o-rings from other places.
Hope this helps somebody
Cheers

I did the same with the PS pump in my old Terrano V6. Nissan wanted to sell me a new pump for just over 800$ (!!!). I said f..., I first give it a try myself and opened the pump. I then took all the bearings and seals to a shop that's specialized in farm tractors and equipment and got me the replacement bearings and seals for less than 20$. Took me a total of 2 hrs. including in&out and the run to the shop.

when i asked about 2 years ago, i got a 2nd handy from halls, but seeming i now know how to pull pumps apart due to work, this was easy

seeming the bearings where squeeling like mad

, all better now and it now painted hammertone silver ready to go in tomorrow night
