Greasable shackles/pins for (ozzy) Rockies ...

Post by F75Rocky »

Does anyone know who in australia makes them?

Ironman say they do on their site (even had part no.'s for them) but, said that in fact they don't. what the?

Anyway, have narrowed it down to 2 main contenders for suspension (4 leafs and shocks, + all bushes and U-bolts) .... Ironman vs King Springs - both $1200 - any opinions?

Also considering Lovells at $1400. Are they all that? I've heard they're good, but ...

TJM is too pricey. Another $400 on Lovells. And Lovells make TJM's springs.

There are places that make custom greasable shackles to any size... big balls offroad may do it... I know I have seen them advertised somewhere.

Put a thread in general tech.

.... and their suppliers also do not make them. The guys at Wholesale Suspension - Penrith (King Springs) say they can make them up. I can only wonder at the price. I was wanting to get it done all at once ... rather than taking it all apart twice. I might just have to go without for now. I'll get a quote just in case.

Keep you posted.
