80 front springs are bigger in diameter and wont fit in the spring mounts im pretty sure the front spring from a 78-79 series cruiser should fit.

eh? not in my experience!

80 front springs are the same diameter within a few mm as bundera rears and fit perfectly in the bundera rear mounts. the bundera front mounts are just big enough to squeeze 80 fronts in there too, they rub a little bit on the chassis on full articulation but work pefectly well and make a dirt cheap lift for bundera.

A 3inch coil spacer would be huge. I've seen 1 inch, but not 3inch. I didn't think they were available????
Confused :?:

I thought 80 ser springs would be way to heavier coil to put in a bundy? Like the ride would be rough as? Please correct me if I am wrong.. I am looking at lifting mine a little bit more than it is at the front now because mounting my winch has dropped the front end. I tried to get spacers for the front but no one makes em for the bundy.. So I am looking at making them myself, as I dont need a 6 inch lift spacers would do just fine. Besides that, a short wheel base dosent need the lift a long wheel base does to clear things... With the hight mine is now I get over the same rock steeps as a patrol or landcruiser with 4 to 6 inch lift... and I still dont have lockers fitted...
