Hilux diffs in zook
Hilux diffs in zook
Im putting hilux diffs in my seirra (will be running 35"s) was wondering who else has done it and what ratios there useing. I know redzook has them with 33"s does anyone know what his ratios are.
The Apprentice wrote:i was goin to go series 3 rock hopper so 4.16:1 with 4.8 diff rat. Do u recon that will be low enough to run 35"s hows yours go with 33"s.
series 3 rock hopper is 6.1
the series 1 is 4.16
so if u have the 6.1 and 4.88s it should be good onroad and offroad should be but if you do any real technical driving u might want a bit lower
are u plannin to strecth the wheelbase at all? 35's on stock wb = SCARY
The Apprentice wrote:i was goin to copy bazooked's setup with yj leaves so its goin to be 2" longer. He recons it will be scary to lol ill have 8" lift by the time i finish Im makin sure i got a good roll cage and just brought so buckets with 5 point harneses.
2 inch londer aint much of a stretch.. but if u dont do many ledges or nothin it should be cool
i run(if it ever does) a 6.1rh and 4.1 80s cruiser front and 4.1 hilux rear both in the lux diffs....pics in the members section....
should be doing around 3400rpm at 100ks in 5th gear...and have a crawl ratio just under 100...about 96... running 33s

So do you still think you will be able to make this bolt on bolt off?
Also NAM ran 34" jungle trekkers (measure almost 35) with a 2"BL, virtural lift, extended shackles. Why do you want so much lift?

Mine was 1600 w/ series1 and 4.55 (hp front) and ran 35ET and 35/14.5/15 boggers, even with the boggers at 2psi i could sit on 90-100kph.
