uhf into stereo

uhf into stereo
anyone see a problem with wiring the uhf into the front speakers of the car and using a switch between music/uhf?
only problem is (not that i think it will be a problem) is that there is no way to get the internal speaker to work so the uhf can be heard with front speakers playing music.
thoughts?

yeah was thinking that... problem is though, with the soft top it is hard to hear any speaker not pointing at the passengers, so on top of the dash speaker would be good but i'm wanting something a little more discreet.
would stereo be buggered if i switched it the way i proposed?

possibilities
ever thought of getting the 3.5 stereo connector out of the uhf , and pluging it in to an fm transmiter, then just changing the station on radio???
you can oftern get em for walkmans as a kit that are in car use.

What sort of stereo do you have?? if you have an AUX IN in the back of the stereo you could get an adaptor to make the 3.5 stereo plug from the back of the UHF into RCA (Jaycar or Brisse car sound) so you can just plug it in, then you just change the source on your stereo to listen to it. And for the rest of the time you hook up an external speaker aswell and have it on a switch if you dont want it to work when the stereo pumpin out UHF noise. It will require a few double adaptors and stuff but you could do it, and hooking it up through the stereo like that will boost the signal.
If at first you dont succeed.......get a bigger HAMMER!!!
