AT tyre recommendations

Currently running 265/75/16 Cooper ST's on our GU ute.
They've done 65 000km and they are stuffed. They've been rotated and balanced every 10 000km.
The missus drives it 95% of the time, and it has done bugger all off road, mainly highway, crap secondary roads and dirt .

I want to stick with the stock size, so I want something with good grip, good load carrying capacity (it tows a horse float and carries horse feed) and good life.
The Coopers have been fine, but I was expecting much more life, and they're pretty damned skatey now on the dirt, which is fun for me, but not safe for her.

any thoughts ?

Rick.

thats less than the 65,000 he got out of ST's.

What about the Warranty with Cooper to last a squillion klms?

Check out Toyo Opats, they are almost a HT, but have a stunning reputation with outback tourers for lasting.

YMMV

not worth a pinch of poop.
Typical marketing BS. Doesn't even apply to us as we are in the bush.

Didn't even consider Toyo, will have to check them out, thanks.
