Post by Chookman »

Steering box has developed a leak around the input shaft.
Thought I may as well go for e reco unit if i was going to the trouble of pulling it out.
Ideas on cost??
Ideas on just the seal replacement??

Got the Mav's P.S. fixed (at the cost of the Insurance company) last year..........it cost them about $1200.......that's drive in drive out and not touching the pump.

I was quite impressed that insurance paid it!!!!! :) :) It happened at LCMP when I was driving a long a wallaby jumped out......turned quick and left front tried to climb a tree. Bent sector shaft, fluid everywhere, no P.S. for two weeks.

4WD Insurance Australia.....I love you!! :P :P :P
