Leaking fuel fittings?

Post by -Scott- »

I've just finished installing a long range tank, and I have one brass fitting which I can't stop leaking thru the thread. Is there any reason I can't use teflon tape (PTFE tape, plumber's tape etc.) on the thread? Is there something else I should use?

Thanks,

Scott

Loctite Master Gasket (515?), or something similar, should work too.

Thanks guys! Teflon tape it is!

Now, can I remove the fitting without removing the tank? :?

Cheers,
