Driving lights upgrades to HID

Post by morkz »

Hey i know a couple of weeks ago people were talking about getting modified looms to put in their patrols so you can run higher wattage globes however i was looking around and found someone who does HID upgrades.

Most HID's are low beam however this guy does high/low the kit for a patrol was around $700 fitted. 1 one year warranty

Another reason why HID are better that normal halogen besides being brighter is that they can be submeresed in water i will find the link and post it where they are demo'd in water.

just a thought i'd let everyone know, i understand it's more money but its 200% brighter and if you alot of night driving could be worth it.

Also the guy told me that he can supply HID inserts for driving lights i.e. i can put some HID in my IPF's as well for around $500 packaged deal which is heaps cheaper than any other HID driving lights around.

cheers
