height question???
height question???
Ya here for a good time not a long time!
Brownie,
put the car up on bocks, take off the wheels and get under the wheel arches with a hammer and flatted out every seam that sticks out that would cut into a tyre. Do the same for the under side of the flares too - they will cut into the tyre quite happily.
A set of 29's should fit on the car in stock form, but it will rub in various places when at full compression - but this won't be too much of an issue if you have flattened down any sharp edges that it may touch.
As for the 2.5" of spring lift, if it is an OME spring, i think you will find that the spring will still compress just as much as a stock spring - so the tyre will still tuck just as far up into the wheel well as it did before. The main difference will be the ride hight and the amount of droop that you will achieve with the longer spring.
If you are only trying to achieve an inch or so of lift, then a shackle extension might be the go.
what springs and shocks are you getting?
Cheers mate.

greg the springs are comming off me mate zook ive got no idea what springs they are but they are 2 1/2 inch lift they seem pretty good they work very well on the zook they are on now good flex. the kuhmo 30's actually measure bout 29 and abit anyways so with the 2 1/2 lift i think that it will work quite well. im thinking bout extended shackles could be a goer as for shocks havent thought bout that as yet will see when time comes around something cheap though id say...
cheers
