Why wouldn't just do a engine swap. that way you don't have to worry about plumbing the turbo. that's what i did.

That can be great advice, provided he hadn't already bought the turbo, which he already has, and probably a reliable motor already in the rig.

I'll be going through the same process soon, turbo has been sitting here as a paperweight for soo long now.

Gutlux, do you have all the parts and piping for the turbo? Just have a good look at the engine and where the turbo will sit, all the parts will fall into place visually. Get someone to help you at the assembly stage if not that mech experienced.

Fit a big bore exhaust,it helps save the cyl head from cracking.
Run a good quality oil and change it every 5kms.

What is a better turbo kit to get? try and get hold of a 2L-T head and turbo? or go for something like an AXT or DTS.
Cheers,
Dan.

both atx and dts are good systems but u pay through the nose for it and when a complete 2l-t motor is 2300-2800 its cheaper now to go that way....its all factory...and if u want better performance highflow the turbine..just can't see the sense in pay 3800 to 4200 for a kit that is more than the motor...but thats ur desicon...if want some pics of what i have done pm!
