Post by JohnySWB »

Hi, Im looking for a hydraulic pump. The one that makes the suspension raise up and down in the short wheel base 93 model. Any of you guys know where I could find one. Cheers John

Unfortunately we never got the auto raising suspension on domestic models over here so they would not be available as a spare part from our local Mitsu dealers.
Apparently they can be a bit troublesome.

After reading the topic on 4x4wire, i became very interested in getting my hands on this system

My main concerns are that is it leagal in australia for you car to have hydraulics - because i have heard that it is not. But then there are a few models of citren that have hydralic suspension.

In arguement to vehicles not being able to have hydraulic syspension, - this product came out with the system as a "bolt on extra".

If infact it is ok to have this hydraulic auto lift on you car, where would be the best place to get it from.

why just have one set height - when you can ajust it

thanks

Dave

The system is quit an elaborate piece of equipment. Hard to find and only on jap imports and even then not a option found on them often.

The system is governed by a ECU and for safety sake the raise up position goes down at about 80 kph.

These safety features are found on other brands of 4wd with ability in suspension lift. The new Prado has this option and think Land rover has it in sum models (Disco).

Cheers John.
