Grease Nipples

Hey how does everyone grease up the uni joints on the drive shafts? theres about four of them but the nipples are angled so that it's near impossible to get the gun in there. I tried turning the shaft for a better angle but to no avail.

I usually just use my mouth... Seems to work for the misses..

Oopps.. Wrong Nipples.. D'oh ;)

Initially you might have to remove the driveshaft to access the nipples, as they can block with crud and make it difficult to pump with grease, then once they are cleared, you should be able to grease them with the shaft rotated enough to give you straight access. if the grease is just pumping out the side of the gun head, you might have a faulty seal in the gun head.

I remember my mechanic told me the Feroza's require some sort of special attachment for the grease nipples (?)

Not my tits... I just slide a hard, lube filled standard gun in there and shoot a load until it oozes out of the sides...

I thought the nipples talk might get a mixed response.....

think i'll just get some 90 degree nipples and screw them in. doesnt look like mine has ever been done....

I tried the 90 degree ones on my Rocky and tossed them going back to the 45 degree ones. When the shaft is still on it is a PITA with the 90 degree ones if the thread is not just quite right...
