Bugger, I missed the 3 month due date by 4 days and it is still off the road. I have a few brake probs, lighting probs etc and planned to repair all of this before driving it on the road blah blah blah. I have a very trusting mech but he only does pink slips.
Does anyone know of a reasonable or easy blue slip mech???

No such thing!
They have rules and abide by them (and fair enough in my opinion).
Break the rules and they go a row.
Ring the RTA for Blue slip dealers, there are heaps!
