How the hell do u get access to the grease nipple in the cardinal joint on a l28 4 speed SWB mq front drive shaft. I don't know whether diesels and lwb's have the same setup but its a mongrel to get to. Wondering if anyones had to do this in the past.
Are u able to get smaller heads for grease guns, the one i've got now is about 1cm across the head and theres no way it will fit into where the grease nipple is.??
I've also dropped the shaft so i could bend it to its max but still i can't get a grease gun on it.......
Thanx
ps. i do want to grease it as i had to replace one of these shafts about 3 years ago and from the wreckers it was about $250.....ouch!!! The cardinal joint seized....
