my 60 toyo is fitted with a uniden uh011 uhf radio when purchased it had no mike , thats not the problem ,have bought a mike now have no idea how to use the bloody thing . does anybody have this model radio and still have the factory manual would appreciate a copy thanks

Check out this site you can download their manuals

there is none for the uh011 but the uh012 is there should give you enough of an idea to work out the rest

make sure you have a uhf antenna connected...turn it on..on/off knob..try channels 1 to 8..see if you can get a repeater..should be a bit of a psst after you let the mike button go..if so say hello can i have a radio check please...you should get a reponse...dont use channels 31 to 38..these are back channels..channel 5 is emergency..use all the other channels like you own them..:)..abuse every one on the repeater channels like they are all idiots ((everyone else seems to do this) BUT NOT I) make sure you block out the repeater with idle chit chat between you and a mate just around the corner.....(well that all i hear).. :D ..enjoy ...i love my uhf..
