I have an 88 gq and was hoping to put a injector kit on it and remove the carby but have hit a snag cant find were i can get one does any one know

buy a injected setup off a later model GQ. i think 95 an onwards. buy the head, manifolds, computer and all the other neccasary stuff. i suggest talk to an expert mate. it would probably be better just to swap motors......

Someone on here used a throttle body off a Falcon mounted where the Nissan carby sits. Maybe they will post??

iv been looking to do this to my 88 4.2 petrol
but $$ involved gos past me :D

find and newer patrol with it, all the computer parts and so forth
im with cam get a pro to do it :)

I imagine there are quite a few people who would like to bolt on injection. I know a South African company had a bolt-on kit for Holden sixes, was in Zoom - will try to find the article.

Perhaps a 280ZX system could be adapted, or a Commodore EFI with a Kalmaker ECU.

yes it was me :twisted: sold it to crushu, so you will have to ask him how it goes as i didn't drive it all that much before i got the gen 3 bug.

cost me $450 all up for falcon bits dizzy mods fuel pump etc
