I have a 32/36 DGV Weber on mine. As far as an adaptor plate goes, just get the one that suits an L24, L26, Gemini and just about any other Japanese vehicle with a standard 2 barrel carby. Then just adapt the orginal linkages off the standard carby onto the Weber, and messing around with a return spring.
As for jet sizes, i haven't stuffed around with them, they are just the ones that were in the carby from new and it seems to run fine.
I can't compare it to how well it goes over the standard carby, as it was completely stuffed with major vaccuum leaks and never went right.

They go really well with a 320 holley but gotta tune it properly, mine use to blow away 4.2 GQ's no sweat, but had troubles flooding going down steep tracks, the fellows at the DYNO TUNE mob said the XF falcon two barrel would be a much better conversion. the 32/36 is to small. I sold up and goin for a DIESEL

When i started looking for an adpator plate for mine, this is the exact response i got. Everyone loved telling me a 32/36 DGV was for a 2.0L and could not work on an L28. It was quite interesting how not one of them could answer "how is it to small if it's bigger then the standard carby" they would simply get a confused look on their face and shut up.
Carb
I had a small holley on my old long wheelbase (got good photos smokin it up ) but hated the flat spots....

Had no flat spots on mine or the other two mates who had em, but the darn down hill flooding was a pain, didn't want to spend the dosh for the off road kit, can modify em ya self I latter found out extending the float bowl breather etc. But honestly would go for the XF carby if had a choice over .....
