Heaps of pressure in radiator of Hilux

Post by sambo »

If you remember the post a couple of weeks ago about bubbles in the radiator.

Well i replaced the head gasket in my mates hilux and gave it back to him. He now tells me that it still appears to be overheating and that one of the small hoses gets a big bulge in it. He explained where the hose is and it sounds to me like he is talking about the thermostat bypass hose.

He said the bottem radiator hose sometimes hisses at the join.

Any thoughts. And please don't tell me it is the head.

Good news dude IT'S THE HEAD.
I'll put some money on that one.
Just had the head off a surf that was doing exactly that. Checked the water pump it hasn't had coolant in it the impeller rusted off completly.
I'm not stuck I'm over here!
