40s disk brake conv woes
anyone put 75 series disks on a 40 before? if so what tie rod end did you use to fit the 75 idler arm to the 40 idler pivot? I need a LH threaded 40 tie rod end but have been told they dont make them. any ideas as i want to keep the big fat 75 tie rods.

The 60 series box has the pitman arm going forward, 75 series goes back. So you mount the 60 series back in your engine bay. The boxes also spin opposite directions to each other. Tidier conversion with nothing hanging out the front of the car.
As far as the tierod end problem goes, get a custom strengthened rod made with the correct thread and size on each end. Cost a few $ up front but will save you bending original rods down the track.
