Can any body offer advice on suitable options for converting my 60's standard rear drums to discs?
Preferably using standard toyota parts without as little custom machining work required as pos.
Will 80 series discs bolt up without to much fuss or are there other options?
Thanks in advance
Shane

60 series rear disc conversion?

Theres plenty of different ways to do it, i did half a mod b4 selling mine...it consisted of machining the ass of the standard hub till the standard front disc fit on and then using the std front wheel studs to hold it all together.
From there a set of rear 9 inch (disc diff) ford callipers will fit with a custom adapter plate...thats where i got to anyway, others (Brian) has used 86ish hilux discs and subaru front callipers....ive also heard of the rear diff from a 1990 plus hj75 being used wholus bolus.....but the spring purches need to be moved a bit and 80 hubs fitted to get the width back.
