Hey guys,
I know this question has probably been asked a million times before, but i am wanting to upgrade from my feroza to a GQ, but before I do I want to know what I'm getting myself into with petrol prices the way they are at the moment.
Basically what engines use what amount of fuel. I am leaning towards short wheel base. So 4.2 petrol, 4.2 gas, 4.2 diesel. how many liters per 100k's or whatever?
Thanks
Dave

Well with my feroza 1.6l efi with 31's i only get 11.5 - 12 l/100k's. So if i can get 13 out of a 4.2 diesel patrol, its really not that bad when you consider the weight difference.
Thanks

i average around 13l 100k also in my gq diesel wagon but considering the outrageuos cost of diesel now a dual fuel petrol six or a V8 on gas would be just as cost effective i think and sooooo much more GRUNT .
that said i love the diesel reliability but for an urban 4x4 and not an outback tourer i'm thinking of a V8. either way you can't go wrong with a gq.
