the governor in my BJ42 has gone

i have bought the new one

where does it go and how do i put it in

btw it is a 3B engine

Pay a mechanic to set it up - they are a bugger.

From memory they have to be retested to ensure no overrevving once in.

There's also a small spring that goes with it!

have a look on the back of your injector pump. There should be a case thingy that has the arm from the edic attached and two black rubber vacuum hoses coming out of it and going to the butterfly valve/accelerator assembly. I have not seen a 3b b4, but if its anything like the B or 2H, there should be 4 round head screws that take a flat head driver, all facing the back of the engine. Undo the screws and the cover plate will come off. A big spring is in there that will fall out, and the diaphram is right there. It may be attached to the injector by a lock spring/ring thing which is a bitch to get out, or you may be lucky and it may have nothing.

you may need some little pixie people to help you out if it has a lock thingit. Good Luck
