Suspension balance

Post by Chookman »

Guys,

Have been playing around with my GQ LWB suspension and have noticed that the spring height on different corners has changed a bit.
Front is still level give or take 5mm.
Right rear is approx 15mm lower than left side
Only change has been the extra weight of bigger spare muddy.
With the spare off the difference is about 10mm
Is this typical for GQ's and I'm stressing about nothing.
Or do I have a problem??

Thanks for any help

Normal.

1. swap rear springs over to see if it helps
or
2. add 10mm/15mm ARB trim packer to RH spring

There is a designated side for each coil, they should be marked with a PS and DS (passenger and drivers side) check to see they have not been incorrectly placed on opposite sides. There is a height difference between the two coils, for most brands of coil.
Built, not bought.
