What do you guys think of this leave setup. Heaps of rear flex!

Not bad at all.

looks like a 1/4 eliptic setup. I would like that but don't know exactly how to setup properly.

Thanks

Its one of the guys I wheeled with at Moab. He is connected with Spidertrax. A swing waya arm attached to the chassis with a rubber bush. It allows lots of flex but it isn't as progressive as a leaf is. It is a quicker and neater way of getting a 3/4 setup on a wide track as you can mount the arm outboard of the chassis.

Hmm that’s strange grimbo as that photo is from 2000-2001 moab, you were most probably their when it was taken! Yes that rig is fairly bolt on spider trax. The rear is a swing away ¾ rear and coil front.

only problem with a hinged pivoty thingy is you would loose alot of roll stiffnes in the rear end :?
So when one front wheel climbs, the whole car will follow and want to tip

:D
