J Top Roof info

Post by V25C »

While I was in Japan last week I bought a new soft top for the Paj. It cost 99,000 Yen or at current exchange rates about AUS$1,200. Mitsubishi dont keep them in stock as it is an old model (an NH SWB J Top is $1800 at auction there- approx price as a new roof). I was quoted 50 days to manufacture by Shige from the J Top site before I left for Japan. Once in Japan I ordered the roof, it took 5 days to arrive, according to the build date stamp in the roof it was manufactured the day after I placed my order. -Excellent, service but that is typical while in Japan. Dont try to buy a genuine new roof in Oz, I was quoted $4000 to $6000 for the same thing from my local dealer.
