Looks like its a playoff between Rangies and GQ's. It's interesting to see what the comp vehicles of choice are over the years. Why aren't there any Suzuki's competing - the bogholes shouldn't be too deep?

OK, here we go!!
First I would like to say, I had a good time. :D
We started in 14th pos and drove everything, I didnt have to touch the winch ( that was good), there were 2 halves to the event and being a Nav event I think we found EVERYTHING in both. I think we were the only ones to find everything, we drove both SS in good time with no penalties ( also one of the only teams to do that) and did well in the novelty events ( coming first in the winch one). We were the last team back home, but that dosnt mean squat as it is a Nav event where finding everything and being consistant in the SS and Novelty events count. So we find out the results on Tuesday night.

Damage report.
Guts dinged in his drivers door ( stray tree flicked up)
Guts front shaft ( was iffy b4 the start)
Guts very bent front diff ( had a slisht bend in it b4 the start)

So all was good. We finished around 9 am and by the time we got a car trailer and towed Guts rig home it was around 3.
It was a bloody long day, but fun had by all.

And NO Guts you cant keep the HID's. Guts had a flat battry but refused to turn them off.

Yer went down to watch all you guys take off on Sat. I was the "little" black Jeep hagning around taking pics etc. Gotta say guy you've got some NICE looking rigs there, just shame there were no Jeeps participating, got me thinking for next year.
Sounds like you all had a ball and seemed to be a well organised event!
