I have a PDF file on the 4M40 (from genuine factory manual) = 130 pages and 3.2Meg. It's only on the engine, turbo, cooling system, injectors & pump etc.
Do you want me to email this to you ??

Frank.

hay Frank,
my internet connection is only 28.8, how long do you recon it would take to download? if too long i would be very interested in maybe getting a hard copy on cd of the 4m40 pdf files you have. could i post you a self addressed envelope and cd for you to copy it onto? i know its a bit cheeky but find it hard to find info on 4m40 motor(although just got hold of a haynes manual p/n 68765 which covers it a bit).

I've got US version in PDF. It would only be for LWB and would not have any diesel stuff. Plus it would be "right" hand drive (meaning left hand, the right way. J/K) Two volumes, one for engine/body/chassis and one for electrical. They are both ~75MB. No way to download without broadband. Be happy to send a CD if you think you could use it.
FSMs at http://www.mitsubishilinks.com
1) 00 3.5 SOHC, AT, stock for now
2) 95 LS,5-spd,3.0 24V,SR rear locker
3) 87 SWB 2.6L Turbo, I/C, 2.85s, LSD/LSD
4) 03 20th Anniv, hers, 22k miles!

Hey Mates!

I am currently in the throes of PDFing all I have. In addition, others that hang out on 4x4Wire.com are sending me some to fill in the blanks. These will mostly be US based FSMs, though they should be of general use to those down under who have petrol motors. Also remember that in the US (and NA in general I think), we get our models a year later that the rest of the world.

I have some PDF'd now, and a big pile next to my scanner of those to do. I will be updating my simple little site tonight. Right now the links are a little sketchy as I just fired up the site this week, and haven't gotten all that I have ready loaded up yet. So be sure to keep an eye on it over the next few weeks.

The URL is http://www.MitsubishiLinks.com.

Pretty sweet score on the name, eh?

Ride On,
Bill
