fitting 33's on my lux.

Post by Luv to 4B »

I have just done an engine conversion (3 litre turbo deisel 1KZ-TE) and i need to go to 33's to set the final drive ratio right again. Its a rigid front end lux. Im going to get ORI extended shackles all round and i have 2" springs already but....

Will this be enough lift to clear 33's if, i put IFS rears in the back and move the saggy rears into the front?

When this mod is done how many leaves and which ones do you take out of the rears that go in the front, if i have a heavy steel bull bar and getting a 9000 pound winch soon?

Any help or advice much appreciated.
My mind is like a steel trap....quite dangerous because i forget where i left it.

I fitted 33's with only a 2 inch body lift and standard springs, with no rubbing. Maybe an option?

They should fit no worries, I run 2" body and 4" lift and fit 35's no worries, with room for 37's.

what you got on the back?

Style side or tray?

Dumb question but you put the body lift on the back as well?

i agree with everyone else

i cleared 33's with 4" lift. not a problem a bit of rubbage... went cross over steering ....moved diff forward and didnt touch at all then.

haha the angle grinder made more room for me...maybe u aint talkin tough enough TONKA!!!

but yes the grinder will make lotsa room for ya if u want but its not needed for 33's if u do it properly... just experminet with differnt setups till ur happy.

or a BFHammer will do the job!
