free and simple power increase for a 1.3

Post by christover1 »

I finaly got to checkin the operation of my throttle pedal/cable etc, as I have been bashing the firewall back for ever increasing tyre sizes, over the years. Joey and I have been discussing the issue fer ages, and I should have done it ages ago. My throttle was no where near opening fully when pedal was on the floor.
A temporary spacer under the pedal, and suddenly I got all my power back....why did I wait so long, for such a simple thing...I didn't notice the slow loss, as hammering floor pan back was over many years..Add that to the new diff gearing, and I is a happy man :) :D :)

Think of all the fuel you've saved by not being able to push the throttle open as much....
