84-88 cab onto 81-83 mounts?

Post by Arron nz »

Does anyone know if an 84-88 single cab will bolt to the same body mounts as an 81-83 single cab. Im sure Toyota would not make life that easy? Has anyone done this? was it worth the effort or should i just spend heaps on rust repairs.
Cheers for any info.

Dunno, Ive got two bare cabs and a chassis here I can measure if you like. What are you planning on putting on? Ive only got an extra and a single, no dual.

I have a 81 single cab that is full of rust and am guessing to is going to be easier to find a newer cab that isnt full of rust than an old one that isint. If you have 84-88 cab (or chassis) and 80-83 chassis (or cab) and you know weather one fits the other then that would be great.
Cheers.
