help wanted.
just bought a 86 sierra has 1.6 vitara mtr, spoa.
question how hard is it to fit hilux diffs and is it worth the effort.

Sounds like a good platform to start with.

If you're keeping the rubber small (say 31") I wouldnt bother. If you want bigger then you'll may need to consider it, but it certainly isnt necessary till the tyres get a bit bigger than that.

I'd wanna know more about whats in it before you go down that route - lockers and gearing and stuff.

Thats an awsome platform to start on. Im guessing this thing is gonna be a trailor queen. In that case go for some big rubber and go for some hilux diffs. I dont know the exact details on it as i havn't done it but go to

www.nbs4x4club.com and talk to FatZook or 7even. i think there are some other people who have done it was well. and there are plenty around here.
