Moving LPG filler hose

Post by Snarba »

Hi all..... just moving my LPG tank and filler hose to make room for some cutting. My question is can I undo the bulky filler head from the hose or is that where the valve is? or is it on the tank end of the hose? Any help much appreciated. thanx

there is a valve at both ends if you udo the filler line a small amount of gas may be released tho alot of the valves at the fillers leak slowly so some wont

undo it and you will be fine

be aware. i have had to flare off gas tanks when the valve in the tank was faulty and gas was leaking out the filler valve which was also faulty. just crack it slowly in a well ventilated area wtih no source's of ignition near by. remember it is heavier than air and will pool in low areas.
take care.
