??will 99 paj seats fit straight into a 93 model??

Post by KRI55 »

Hi i've got a 93 pajero lwb GL and i am wondering if the seats from a GLS of the last of the same shape(NM??the 1 that looks the same but has fatter guards) will fit?
and if so do i have to do much to get them to fit??

All help appreciated.
Thanx James :D

Hi James

The last of the Gen 2s was the NL, which ran to mid 2000. The NM is the first of the current shape, and is substantially different.

I would expect NL seats to bolt straight in to a '93 model (NH or NJ?) but I'm not certain it will work - because life wasn't meant to be easy. :D

Do you have a friendly wrecker where you can get in and look at both types of seats? If they're already out of the vehicle it should be a simple job to spot any differences in the mounts.

Good luck,

Scott

I did notice that my NL did not have suspension seats as my NH did...... Has anyone else noticed this?

My NJ doesn't have them either, but I didn't know they were still doing them at NH.
